It's been a busy few weeks which is why my posts have been so few, but I hope to get back into it now. Hopefully this picture heavy post will make up for the recent hiatus. These are all the other pictures from our weekend at the farm. We packed a lot of fun into 5 days!
Mackenzie liked the digger in the sand.
Rylan played a lot of baseball, practicing his swing.
My parents have a huge garden and Mackenzie loved to help pick tomatoes.

One day we hit up the zoo. We learned a lot about the black rhino in one of their newest exhibits. Rylan with his rhino ears.
There was a spot to draw and submit your own drawing of the rhinos for a chance to have it displayed.
Of course Mackenzie's babies had to come along to the zoo, so while the kids were drawing their pictures, Grandpa babysat for her.
Of course we couldn't go to the zoo and skip the carousel!
And we also couldn't go to the zoo without a picture of Grandma and Grandpa with the kids on the turtle.
Rylan said, "hurry up Mommy, in case I fall off." He didn't.
Thank goodness for Grandpa who crawled through the tunnel with the kids - they weren't tall enough to see out the bubble into the tortoise habitat.
In the barnyard area, there were a few different activities to do, so I let the kids choose one each. Mackenzie chose to ride the camel. After first climbing on backwards, she got situated and had such a fun time. She was beaming the entire time.
The handler walked them over to the fence for a picture - even the camel smiled!
Rylan chose to mine for fossils. He got a screen and a bag of sand to bring to the water trough. He dumped a little sand in at a time to find the fossils. We got a postcard of possible fossils we'd find so we could identify them.
He was in heaven! He loves rocks and bones and treasures so this was the best thing he could have done. He would have done this all day if I had let him.
Mackenzie went on her camel ride first, so she was feeling pretty left out when Rylan was mining. After he was done, he was such a good brother and let her have a turn. My dad quickly picked up a few big rocks from the ground so she could find some treasures too. She was thrilled.
Another beautiful spot we visited was Falls Park, a natural waterfall area along the river.
In one of the old buildings, it was Grandpa's idea to pull the chains aside so Rylan could fit through for a photo.
It was quite the view from the look-out tower.
We had a great time climbing and hiking around the area.
Not many pictures here, but we had a fun time at a local water park too.
