It's de-lurking day! If you are reading this, then you have to post a comment so I know who is checking my blog! No more lurking! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, and I have no new pictures to share right now, but I've been really busy.
As you may remember, I took a year off from teaching to stay home. Well, my year is up and school started this past week, so I'm back at it. It has been going well though and I'm excited to be back. I do miss my babies, but they love daycare and are having a blast spending every day with other kids, so I know I'm doing the right thing. I'm not getting as much sleep, but I'm becoming much more efficient, because I have to be. It will get easier as I get more used to this crazy schedule, but it's been fun so far and I'm excited to be with this group of students, I think it's going to be a good year!
Alright, hit the "comment" button, say hi, and leave your name! I want to know who is here! :)

I almost forgot!
Mackenzie got her second tooth over the weekend as well! It's just barely popped through. She hasn't been cranky or anything either, what a perfect little girl! WooHoo, she's on her way to finnally eating all the real food she wants so badly!
Wedding Weekend - Part III
Here are the last of the pictures I have until I get more from the actual ceremony. There were so many people snapping pictures at and before the ceremony, I just decided to get out of the way.
This was at the groom's dinner.
Before we went to rehearsal, we stopped at the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues. Rylan thought they were alright, but he preferred the nearby playground.

The sno-cones were a hit!

One of Rylan's favorite things to do - ride in the golf cart with Grandma Mac

Rylan and the flower girl, Ella. They were adorable!

Rylan and the pillow. He was so proud to have a job!

By the time we got to the reception, Rylan was ready to do his own thing and let off some 3-year-old energy. I know he would have had fun at the dance, but we just couldn't wait around that long. So I gulped down my dinner and took the kids swimming. I wish I had taken pictures of Mackenzie in her floaty thing, but obviously, I couldn't stay right next to her and take pictures at the same time, but she had so much fun. Her legs never stopped moving, she's going to be a fish like her brother!

Kenzie bundled up after swimming, can you see the smile behind that binky?

Both kids slept so well after a big day and swimming. The next morning, we all cuddled together and watched cartoons, the most awesome time of the day!

After breakfast, I took Rylan swimming again, this time, Nick was able to take pictures. The pool was so awesome, there was a whole area just for little kids, with a slide, and different sprayers and such, so fun! While there, Rylan made a huge step in his swimming abilities. He purposely dunked his head under the water! It started when he watched a little girl go down this slide on her belly, but he didn't realize that her face went under every time. So when he tried it, I was there to help him, but he went under, came up, and realized it wasn't a big deal! Yay! So then when we were playing in the big pool and he was jumping to me, I gradually let him go further and further in until his head was going under. We eventually got to the point where I didn't need to catch him at all! I was so excited for him and so proud of him! Who knew I'd ever get so excited over jumping in the pool! But this is a big step, because he's never even wanted to dip his face in the water before, so I imagine his swimming will really take off now! What a big boy!

The other awesome thing they had in the pool area was a giant mushroom with 4 Johnny Jumpers hanging from it for babies. Mackenzie LOVED this thing so much that I'm sad that I never got her one for our house! She has an exersaucer, but she loved to spin around and swing in this. What an awesome thing to have in the pool area for babies!

Wedding Weekend - Part II
Thursday was rehearsal in Bemidji then back to the lake for the groom's dinner at Bakke's cabin. It was another hot day, so many enjoyed water sports again. Rylan had a blast in the water, but soon enough, he stripped naked and the best I could do was get underwear on him. Oh well, underwear and golf go well together right? :)

Mackenzie with Andy and Becca. We can't wait for their sweet baby to arrive and for them to move closer, we miss them!

Mackenzie got her first "pedicure" from her second cousins Carrie and Anna, and Aunt Katie. They just painted her toenails and they look SO cute! It took all three of them, but it finally got done! I can't wait to do all these girly things with my girl!

Wedding Weekend - Part I
Las Vegas
I realize it's been over 2 weeks since my last post, and I know that is unacceptable, but hopefully I'll be able to make up for it in the next few days. My blogging hiatus started when Rachel (my sister) and I went to Vegas for a long weekend. We did nothing but relax, it was awesome! We spent the days by the pool, sipping margaritas and we each had a massage one day. We had nice dinners at night and did a little shopping, but mostly, we just relaxed. We didn't gamble at all and we didn't hit the clubs. Yes, I realize we are boring and old, but it was the most relaxing and stress-free vacation I've ever had. Awesome! I only took 2 pictures, here they are.
Rachel and I on walkway across the strip, near the Wynn.
Leaving the beautiful 106 degrees, sad, sad, sad.
