Rocks!

When we built our house, we knew we wanted a bunch of big rocks to use in our landscaping.  So far, we haven't done much landscaping, but now we do have rocks!  Not only are the just awesome rocks, but they are from my parents farm - where I grew up!  My Dad had a whole bunch of big rocks that he wanted to get rid of and Nick was so sweet to arrange to have a semi take the 5 hour trip to go get them.  We maxed out the weight limit on the semi and got as many as we could - 14 in all.  We've been waiting to place them around the yard because we didn't want to tear up the yard.  But now that everything is frozen, we finally got them placed yesterday!  It just looks so awesome and even though they're just a bunch of rocks, it warms my heart to see them because of where they came from.  I know my parents won't have the farm forever, so I'm so thrilled to have a piece of the farm here with us.

Maybe some flowers down there too?

Obviously we need to work on the landscaping on this side.

The perfect extra seats for the patio.  Ace was a little concerned about all the rocks, he had to sniff every one of them.
