I realized I have forgotten to post about our camping trip over Labor Day! We went down to visit my family and we went camping with my grandparents. And by camping, I mean we had a tent and grandma and grandpa supplied all the awesome meals. Even in the campground, no course is overlooked! We had such a wonderful time just hanging out, watching the kids, playing some frisbee golf, and just visiting. The plan was for Nick, Rylan and I to sleep in the tent while my parents took Mackenzie back to the farm so she could sleep in a real crib, but things never go as planned do they? My poor baby girl developed a fever Saturday afternoon, so I stayed with her overnight at the farm. By Sunday morning, her fever was gone, but she was having diarrhea which resulted in bad diaper rash. She was still in good spirits, but you could tell she just didn't feel 100%. She was such a trooper though, sweet girl. Her little 'sickness' can be blamed on the 3 top teeth that were all coming in. But in the past week, 2 more have begun working through, so she's got 5 teeth coming in all at once! No wonder she was out of sorts! Seriously though, other than that little "spell" over Labor Day, she's been exactly the same, happy and sweet all the time. I guess she's been sleeping a bit more lately, but obviously I'm not complaining about that! I can only hope she always remains this easy! Here are pictures from our trip. I'm sad that I don't have any of my grandma, she's so awesome!
Kenzie and Grandma, just chillin'. She has a lego person in her mouth, what you're seeing is the top of a cowboy hat on the thing. I wish I had captured her face, she would put it in her mouth and just grin like she knew she was funny. It was great!

The guys, doing 'guy' stuff. (Great Grandpa, Grandpa, Rylan, and Daddy)

Rylan wanted them all to blow on the fire at the same time.

My sweet, sweet boy!

Trying to jump rope, but getting tangled instead.

Mackenzie was fascinated with the lights.
