There is a lovely little kids course at one of our local courses and I think we will frequent it a lot more this summer now that Mackenzie is getting into it a little more. (we have to work on her grip though, she looks like a hockey player with that club!) Anyhow, it was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Rylan can whack that ball pretty far and he was sad to leave after playing "only" 12 holes.

Looking good buddy!
Handsome little golfer
Mackenzie prefers the sweeping method for putting.
I think it was par!
Couldn't be left out; she had to carry the bag too.
After a while Mackenzie was getting bored, so while the boys kept golfing, she and I took a break on one of the tee boxes. It was a nice view.
See? The view doesn't get much better!
She's my daughter all right. The first thing she wanted to do was take her shoes off. That's one thing that would make golfing so much more enjoyable, if you could do it barefoot! The nicest, softest, most awesome grass in the world and you can't take your shoes off. Barefoot golfing would be my sport of choice.
As we were lying there, we heard something, and after some investigation, we found this woodpecker! Mackenzie was thrilled, as she was sure it was Woody.
