Day 5

Friday -
Rylan and I must have both had a busy week because by 10:30am, both of us were sleeping. A 2 hour nap for me, and a 3 hour nap for Rylan, it was awesome! After our naps, we finally had some lunch, then went outside to play some more. I took him a 4-wheeler ride around the farm and then we went to my other Grandma's house for dinner.

We took this one just for Uncle Spencer! Rylan is showing off his shirt! We miss you Uncle "Ben-sa"!

Rylan and his Great Grandma

Grandparents - Day 4

Thursday -
We had breakfast with my grandparents (Rylan's great grandparents) and spent the morning at their house. We ate lunch with them too, then went home for a nap. In the afternoon, what else, but play!

"Cheese"
Posing for Great Grandma

He was so proud of himself when he realized he could make the train whistle work.

Great Grandma showed Rylan how to stick these to his face. He loved it! She would put them on, he would run to the mirror to look, then pull them off to have her do it again! What a goof!

Day 3

Wednesday -
Rylan got to spend most of the day with just Grandma and Grandpa while I did some shopping. It was nice to get out by myself, but I was tired when I got back. My feet get quite swollen if I'm on them all day! When I got back, they were all playing outside. Rylan and Grandpa were throwing a ball on the roof and watching it fall back down, who knew it could be so funny!

Waiting

It looks like it hit him, but it didn't.

Checking out the cows

On one of the buildings, there was a robin's nest with a baby bird in it. We were hoping to get a picture of the bird peeking his head out the top, but apparently, he was frightened by a 2 year old staring in his nest! Obviously, Rylan loved it regardless.

Day 2

Tuesday - We went to a local zoo and saw lots of animals. It was an overcast day so it was perfect, not hot and not busy. I think Rylan just liked to run around the most, but we had a great time! Rylan and I also worked on some new faces. I will get them on video, but here are the stills.

At the zoo

Tortoises - I don't remember what kind, but had Rylan laid down next to them, they probably would have been about the same length.

Zebra

I forgot what this bird was called, but it was with the zebras.

We also stopped at the local waterfalls park. Rylan liked the bridge the best.

Grandparents - Day 1

We're home from our week with my parents! We had a wonderful time, but it is nice to be home. I will be posting pictures over the next few days since we took lots.
Day 1
We basically just hung out on the farm. Rylan stayed busy playing with all the "new" toys at Grandma's house and he was intrigued by watching Grandpa loading up corn on the truck. We played outside and he stayed in his jammies all day! It was a relaxing day!

Playing with Grandma

While we were sitting on the patio, a young robin was sort of flying by. It was still learning, and I managed to get close enough with my zoom lens for this great picture in the grass. The mom was nearby and wasn't too happy about me getting close, but she never attacked!

Hanging out on a rock

He's saying "Ba-pa" (Grandpa) in this one. Every time, he would cock his head to the side and say it in this sweet little voice, he had Grandpa wrapped around his little finger!

Rylan and my Dad were eating peanuts - in the shell, so Dad was showing him how to crack them open to find the peanut inside.

Concentrating so hard!

Whoa!

My favorite picture of Rylan and my Dad ever!
