A Child Of God

Our beautiful niece Elliana was dedicated last weekend and Nick and I were honored to be two of her prayer sponsors.  We have been praying for her since she was a positive pregnancy test and we love her so much!  It was a quick trip, but we had a great time and cherished our time with Rachel, Andrew and sweet sweet Elliana!

Beautiful little girl, just like her beautiful Momma!

So so sweet!

Love you guys!

I'm not sure what they were talking about, but it must have been serious!  :)

Even though her eyes are shut, I just love this smile!

Mackenzie was eager to show Elliana her babies, but not quite ready to hand one over yet.  I think she was a little worried about the drool.

Elliana was such a good girl all day, perfect as can be!

She will always be surrounded by those who love her and will pray for her.

I miss her in my arms!

Rylan and Mackenzie were also very good all day.  They usually like to be the center of attention, but they were fine with giving it all to their sweet cousin!

You are a child of God Elliana!

Easter At The Ranch

After Big Sky, we headed to the ranch for some warmer weather (well it was warmer for 1 day anyway) and Easter with Nick's family.

The kids were excited to use the cable swing again.

Momma had some fun on the swing too!

Daddy's goal was to find antler sheds.  He had been out there two weeks prior and had found some nice ones but hadn't covered all the shelter belts in the deer hot spot.  So we took the kids and walked a couple miles looking for antler sheds.  Rylan was always more excited when he found bones.

I LOVE this picture - all 4 of them just love being outside at the ranch!

Walking through corn stalks.

My two boys.

We did find 5 antler sheds, just not when I had the camera with.  I was surprised at how well Mackenzie did walking so far, I figured I'd end up back in the truck with her because she was tired, but she kept right up the whole way!  She's such a farm girl at heart!

Rylan and cousin Ella coloring together.

On Easter morning, it was pretty cold out again, so we did our Easter egg hunt in the house, but Grandpa had the ultimate search outside.  He had scattered quarters in the grass and the kids had to use metal detectors to find them - so much fun!  However, we only found 16 out of 20, so maybe next time we'll have to look again.

And even though it was cold, we still did some swinging outside under the deck.  Rylan and Mackenzie discovered if they timed it just right (and had some help from mom and dad with that timing) they could touch feet while swinging.

Another hike at sunset made for the perfect ending of the perfect trip.

Swimming in Mexico

I intended to post Big Sky videos today, but they are still on Nick's laptop and I don't have access to that right now.  Here are some Mexico videos I promised back in February - they are making me feel even worse about our cold crappy weather we had today.  I just want summer!  I'd even settle for spring!

Sledding

I know I've been slacking, but this past week has been busy and it's not slowing down yet!  I'll try to get more posted this week!

One day after skiing the kids did a little sledding on a hill out front.  It was beautiful out and they had a blast.

Cousin Ella wondering if she can keep up with Mackenzie.

She was sure going to try!

Cutest sneeze face ever!

Thanks Dad!

Rylan - the pied piper with his tennis balls - the dogs will follow him anywhere as long as he has those!

Our sweet Acey-boy patiently waiting for his next turn.

I was amazed they were getting along well enough to sled down together.

Whoops!

 Now Rylan's turn

Another crash!

Tip over.
