Catch-Up

We've been vey busy, but I haven't been good about blogging, so here is some catch-up!

A couple weeks ago, we took the kids to a community fishing event at a local pond. We didn't catch anything, but it was a beautiful day and we had fun trying.

Rylan started an Intro to Kindergarten class a few weeks ago and he loves it. It is from 8-12 every day for the month of June to help incoming Kindergarteners get used to the school and the routines. He also started T-ball twice a week and he is loving that as well. He has wonderful coaches who are encouraging, supportive, and fun. He is learning more about the game, but sometimes still needs to be reminded to run to the next base. It's so much fun to watch him learn and grow as an athlete.

Mackenzie had a tough first week bringing Rylan to all his activities where she couldn't do them as well, but we have met a bunch of awesome moms who also have little girls on the sidelines at T-ball, so Kenzie looks forward to seeing her group of friends every week, as do I.

We are still having lots of fun on the swing set and we also have a trampoline now too, so we spend a lot of time outside.

Last week we went to the community kids track meet. They are held every Monday for the month of June for ages 2-11. There is a softball throw, standing long jump, and various distance races for all age groups. The kids had a great time, but unfortunately the camera battery died after the first event, so the softball throw is all I have pictures of.
