4th of July

We had a great day, with lots of eating, swimming and playing. Nick's parents, Rach & Rob(my sis and bro-in-law), Chelsea & Ty(friends), and Katie(Nick's sis) spent the day with us at the lake. While Grandpa and Grandma played with Rylan, the rest of us went out on the boat and the 4 girls skied or wakeboarded behind the boat, all at the same time. Then the 3 guys did the same. We did get pictures, but we left the camera at the lake, so I will post them next week! When it got dark, we went out on the boat to watch the various fireworks shows around the lake. It's so much fun watching everyone else's fireworks while cruising the lake wrapped in a blanket. And Rylan LOVED the fireworks! He watched intently the whole time, clapping and ooohing, it was so cute. Towards the end, he was squealing and it sounded like he was trying to imitate the sound the fireworks were making, it was great! I wasn't sure if he'd be scared, but once again, this kid is fearless! We hope everyone else had a safe and fun holiday!
